Sea Barn Racing benefits from an excellent choice of three well-balanced and exhilarating
gallops.
Pick of the bunch is the newly-installed, six-furlong Cushion Track all-weather gallop.
This purpose-built facility runs parallel to the shoreline of the Fleet Lagoon for
three furlongs before a stiff climb away from the coast.
This combination of all-weather terrain means horses’ speed, strength and stamina
can all be tested and improved whatever the surrounding ground conditions may be.
In addition to the all-weather gallop, Sea Barn Racing also benefits from two grass
gallops, one of 5 furlongs and another of 6 furlongs. Both offer a superb combination
of flat, gently-sloping and steeper inclines. In combination and with other areas
of Sea Barn Farm they provide excellent exercise areas.
All three of the gallops are also especially easy on the eye, with magnificent coastal
views and plenty of fresh sea air - helping to give a real boost to horse and rider
whatever the weather!
