Sea Barn Racing is a racehorse stables with a difference. This beautifully located National Hunt and flat-race training facility offers horses and owners a unique combination of bespoke equine care, superb facilities and an unrivalled, picturesque environment.

Run by a small, handpicked team under Public Licensed trainer John Coombe, the stables is based at Sea Barn Farm on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon in West Dorset.

Here horses benefit from an outstanding combination of natural and all-weather gallops as well as stables and paddocks with open, airy aspects which help get the best out of horses whether working or resting.

The elevated, coastal location of the stables ensures fresh clean air throughout the year as well as providing on-site, natural, salt water walking facilities ideal for post-training cooling and hydrotherapy.

The day-to-day running of the yard, including a six-horse rubber-floored walker, 11 boxes and various turnout paddocks is overseen by assistants to John Coombe, John and Miranda Roberts. Both are experienced race riders with a wealth of experience in leading yards in England and Ireland.
